2024 Dance Recital Information

Our dancers will showcase what they have learned during the season at our annual dance recital on
Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Savannah Cultural Arts Center in Savannah, GA.
We can’t wait to see our stars on stage! 

Recital Deadlines

Recital Fee: After March 1st the recital fee is non-refundable
T-shirt Preorder Due: April 15th
Program Dancer Dedication & Business Ads Due: May 1st
Flower Preorders Due: May 17th
Ticket Sales Open: Early Access: May 10th at 8am & General Admission: May 13th at 9am
Costume Delivery to Schools: May 1st-10th (Tuition must be paid in full to receive costume)
Ticket Sales Close: May 31st at 12am

Dress Rehearsal

Dress rehearsal will take place earlier in the day before the show. Dancers are to arrive for dress rehearsal in his/her costume, in their ballet OR tap shoes, and hair done as instructed with costume delivery. Make-up is optional. Photos and video taping are PERMITTED during the dress rehearsal ONLY. Rehearsal consists of stage time and professional photography of individuals and class photos. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to rehearsal time for dancer check in, and rehearsal should last around 45 minutes to one hour. After rehearsal, you will exit the theatre and then return later in the afternoon for their scheduled recital show time.

Dance Recital

Each class will perform a ballet or tap number. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your dancers show time for dancer check in. During the recital, flash photography and videotaping are NOT permitted. We will have a professional videographer on site to record each recital show that will be emailed to the email on file in 4-6 weeks after the event. The recital is optional please let us know by February 1st 2024 if your dancer will not be attending. As of March 1st, 2024 the recital fee will be non refundable. All recital information is sent through email,  please make sure to check regularly.

Ticketing

Tickets are $12.00 for general admission and $22.00 for premium seating. Our shows will be assigned seat ticketing, you will need to reserve tickets for everyone in your party at one time. Ticket sales open one month prior to the recital on TBD. We will send a detailed update and instructions on how to purchase your tickets. Children 2 and under are welcome to sit on laps, but if they require an additional seat you will need to purchase a separate ticket. Any left over seats will be available to  purchase the week of the recital. We cannot guarantee seats will be available at the door.

Below is your dancers rehearsal schedule and recital show time. Click on each drop down box and find your dancers school, there you will see their rehearsal time that they are on stage and what genre of dance they are in. Please arrive in the theatre lobby 15 minutes prior to their on stage time for check in (allow 30 minutes to find parking and walking to theatre). Either ballet or tap shoes are required for the recital, please arrive in full costume for rehearsal with the correct dance shoes listed for your school. For the recital show, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your dancers recital show time for dancer check in/drop off. *Rehearsal & show times are subject to change, you will be notified if your class needs to move their times. **PLEASE TAKE NOTE: SCAD will be having their graduation ceremony on the same day as our recital, June 1st. There will be more traffic than normal due to their event. Please plan accordingly with parking and walking to the venue to arrive on time to your dancers rehearsal and recital times!
